Parent Network of WNY recipient of 2009 Certificate Recognition- Small Business

Parent Network of WNY has been named by the New York State Rehabilitation Association (NYSRA) as a recipient of the 2009 Certificate of Recognition- Small Business. This award recognizes organizations that are true partners in employment of people with disabilities with NYSRA member agencies. This award recognized Parent Network’s collaborative efforts with EPIC- Every Person Influences Children.
Parent Network of WNY was nominated for this award by People, Inc.(a NYSRA member agency) for employing individuals with disabilities and for understanding and support of the unique challenges these employees face. People, Inc. will be presenting this award to Parent Network of WNY and EPIC in October, which is National Disabilities Employment month.
NYSRA is an association of over 120 organizations across the state of New York providing services for people from all disability groups. NYSRA member agencies have developed employment opportunities for over 25,000 people through work centers, supported and competitive employment placements.
