Yahye provides Parent Network of WNY with a number of international resources. He received his Bachelor's degree in Linguistics at Somalia National University and speaks six different languages. He also has experience in the fields of computer software/hardware and language instruction. When he's not busy at Parent Network or with his studies, Yahye also works for a cleaning company.

Yahye and his wife have five young children. After recognizing that his community was in need of opportunities and assistance for their children with special needs, Yahye decided to join Parent Network as a Parent Trainer.

He has been a valuable resource in connecting with harder-to-reach populations, such as the Somali community. He has even helped to translate some learning materials into different languages. We are very fortunate to have Yahye in the Parent Network family.
