Recently, the Parent Network of WNY co-sponsored a seminar given by Jackie Garcia of the state's Commission on Quality Care.

The special program, entitled Navigating the Special Education Process in Spanish, offered tips to more than 60 parents, many of whom speak primarily Spanish. The other collaborating agencies included: BETAC, SETRC, Buffalo Public Schools, and Hispanics United of Buffalo.
