  • Bullying Information Center - Bullying affects ALL of our children — those who bully, those who are victimized, and those who are witnesses or assistants to interpersonal violence. We can and must reduce this age-old problem
  • Child & Family Services - Provides children, adults, families and businesses with a vast array of mental health and human service programs
  • Pacer’s National Bullying Prevention Center - PACER’s National Bullying Prevention Center unites, engages and educates communities nationwide to address bullying through creative, relevant and interactive resources. PACER’s bullying prevention resources are designed to benefit all students, including students with disabilities.
  • Parents, Families, and Friends of Lesbians and Gays (PFLAG) - Buffalo/Niagara Chapter, is a non-profit, all volunteer, community-based organization. PFLAG's mission is to promote the health and well-being of Gay, Lesbian, Bisexual, and Transgendered people, their families, and friends through support, to cope with an adverse society; education, to enlightened an ill-informed public; advocacy, to end discrimination and to secure equal civil rights .

  • Bornhava - A not-for-profit, early childhood environment that works to enable children with developmental disabilities to maximize their potential
  • Down Syndrome Parents Group of WNY - is a non-profit organization consisting of parents and families of children with Down syndrome.  DSPG seeks to enhance the lives of people with Down syndrome and their families.  The organization's informational and social events provide a broad range of opportunities for families to support and encourage each other
  • National Down Syndrome Congress (NDSC) - Provides information, advocacy and support concerning all aspects of life for individuals with Down syndrome
  • National Down Syndrome Society (NDSS) - The mission of the National Down Syndrome Society is to be the national advocate for the value, acceptance and inclusion of people with Down syndrome
  • Preschool Learning Center - A subsidiary of The League for the Handicapped, Inc.  Provides center-based preschool services as well as therapeutic and special education services at home or other community settings

Multiple Sclerosis (MS)

·          Baird Multiple Sclerosis (MS) Center – Located in Buffalo General Hospital, the Baird Multiple Sclerosis (MS) Center of the Jacobs Neurological Institute is dedicated to the prevention of physical and cognitive impairment in MS.

·          National Multiple Sclerosis Society - The National MS Society is a collective of passionate individuals who want to do something about MS now—to move together toward a world free of multiple sclerosis.

Muscular Dystrophy

·          Muscular Dystrpohy Association - MDA is the nonprofit health agency dedicated to curing muscular dystrophy, ALS and related diseases by funding worldwide research. The Association also provides comprehensive health care and support services, advocacy and education.
