Parent Member Training Schedule

This workshop will enable participants to learn how to become an effective parent member of the Committee on Special Education (CSE) or Committee on Preschool Special Education (CPSE). Those who attend this workshop will gain a better understanding of the special education system, learn how to develop an Individualized Education Program (IEP) and also learn what to expect at a Committee on Special Education (CSE) or Committee on Preschool Special Education (CPSE) meeting in their school district.
This workshop is open to everyone interested in the Special Education process. At the end of the workshop, participants receive a certificate of attendance which they can then take to their school district as proof of receiving the knowledge necessary to be an effective parent member on the CSE.
